Back to back doubles titles for Ajeet Rai
New Zealand's Ajeet Rai has won back to back doubles titles on the ITF Men's World Tennis Tour with his Australian partner Thomas Fancutt.
The in-form pair were the top seeds at the Gold Coast International (M25) event in Carrara.
They overcame the second seeds, Australian duo Blake Bayldon and Kody Pearson, in the final 7-5, 7-6(10) on Sunday.
Rai and Fancutt didn't drop a set the whole tournament.
This is Rai's 12th pro doubles title of his career.
It is also Rai and Fancutt's second doubles title as a team in two weeks and their third of the year, after they won the ITF Men's World Tennis Tour M25 event in Brisbane last weekend and the ITF Men's World Tennis Tour M25 event in Darwin in September.
Rai also won his first M25 pro singles title in Cairns in October.
In the Gold Coast, the 24-year-old Kiwi also made it through to the semi-finals in singles.
