Love Tennis 2025 - Club Terms and Conditions


Tennis NZ wishes to ensure that Love Tennis is a success for all clubs involved and that clubs signing up are well supported by Tennis NZ and their local association or regional organisation. The following terms and conditions clarify the role of clubs to make Love Tennis a success in their community.

By participating in Love Tennis, Clubs agree to:

  • Ensure the club and its volunteers meet all requirements specified in these Terms and Conditions to protect the Love Tennis Brand.
  • Pay a set dollar amount per participating club which contributes to the overall budget of Love Tennis. Regions, Associations, and Tennis NZ also contribute costs.
  • Work collaboratively with Tennis NZ, your region/association, and other participating clubs, in good faith, to ensure the success of the campaign.
  • Honour the date and time of Love Tennis set by Tennis NZ, which will be 7 September 2025 for all clubs nationwide.
  • Feed content into a national Love Tennis Website/Instagram/Facebook.
  • Supply photos/video from the campaign to Tennis NZ for general promotional purposes (high-resolution preferred).
  • Adhere to the Love Tennis Brand Guidelines and ensure written approval for any further marketing material the club might wish to produce is obtained prior to manufacture/publication/print.
  • Be responsible for placing and covering the cost of advertising in community papers/radio/TV if desired.
  • (If required) Purchase additional merchandise and marketing collateral beyond that supplied in kits at an additional cost. A price list will be circulated, and orders must be submitted to Tennis NZ by the specified date.
  • Cancellation and Refunds - Change of mind cancellation: there are no refunds for clubs for change of mind after registration to Love Tennis through the online form. Clubs need to be sure they can commit to the date of Love Tennis (7 September 2025) before registering. However, a 3-day grace period will be given. Clubs can contact lovetennis@tennis.kiwi within 72 hours of their registration if they signed up in error.

Love Tennis Brand Guidelines
It is the responsibility of Clubs/Regions/Associations/Volunteers/Tennis NZ to ensure they protect the Love Tennis brand identity at all times. Logos and artwork will be supplied electronically for use, and participants in Love Tennis agree to comply with these branding and logo guidelines at all times:

  • The Love Tennis logo cannot be altered or modified in any way.
  • The Love Tennis Logo is to be included on all marketing.
  • Specified Love Tennis Fonts are to be used in all marketing.
  • Love Tennis brand colours may not be altered or modified in any way.
  • Marketing collateral produced by Tennis NZ must be used by all as the main marketing material throughout the campaign; this includes flyers, posters, signs, and social media banners.
  • Additional supporting marketing material may be produced by the club, but written approval must be obtained from Tennis NZ prior to printing or publication. It will be at Tennis NZ’s sole discretion as to whether the material fits into the brand identity and can be used. Please forward proofs for sign-off BEFORE printing.
  • Clubs may add other sponsors to their marketing material but at their cost to produce. No sponsor may be a conflict of interest to national sponsors.
  • The use of the Love Tennis logo is encouraged and may continue after the event on 7 September 2025 on club marketing, websites, signatures, etc., provided it fits within these brand guidelines.
