Coach Assistant Course
The CAC is designed for coaches proposing to assist a head coach delivering to beginner players or for volunteers delivering tennis in rural/remote areas. The course is a continuation from Coaching Fundamentals covering basic technique and applying key aspects of coaching to practical situations. A fabulous course allowing coaches to deliver lessons to beginner players at Blue, Red, Orange and Green stages, and covers working with beginner adults.
Development Coach Courses
The Development Coach Course teaches novice players progression across all ages. The key focus is on planning, delivering and reflecting on coaching sessions and positive learning environments. The course covers technical and tactical tennis fundamentals, Tennis Hot Shots, Cardio Tennis, Tennis Xpress, the legal and ethical responsibilities of a coach, risk management, programme planning, tennis rules, personal development plus the use of technology to support coaching businesses.
Club Professional Coach Course
Club Professional coaches can work a variety of roles at clubs, centres schools or academies. Some coaches work primarily on-court in a coaching role, others are head coaches, leading a coaching team, combining on-court coaching with off-court responsibilities. The course consists of ten core units and two elective streams – Talent Development and Business Development.
