Making an effort to raise your own funding is looked on favourably when you are applying to funders, ideas can often lead to lots of fun and bring your club community together too.

  • Bar income and club hire (birthday parties, quiz nights, community group meetings, band practices, new parent groups)
  • Sponsor signage
  • Quiz night fun
  • Business House competitions
  • Senior & Junior combined club night
  • Red Level/ tournament for all ages
  • Themed competitions: Halloween, Mad Hatters, Christmas Cracker, Doubles & Bubbles (Hot Shots clubs get marketing material for lots of these kids of events)
  • Councils and reserves often allow non-profit organsations to clear logged excess from forest areas for sale as a fundraiser
  • Annual dinner and auction
  • Bake sales
  • Entertainment books, hardcopy and online

  • Buddy nights – bring a friend for a small fee to join a coaching programme or club social night

  • Progressive dinner. Members provide the catering and venue, Drinks and nibbles, entrees, mains and dessert are served at 4 different venues. Funds to club, members socialise.
  • Merchandising campaign
  • Fashion parade. Tennis gear, latest fashions, local business/label. Ticket entry to club funds
  • Ghost marathon – make-believe marathon sponsored by your club. The cost of participating could be $20 but no one actually runs/swims/rides because it is a “ghost” marathon. Entrants receive a great t-shirt as a souvenir of their “participation”.
  • Dance – Formal Ball, Salsa, Fancy Dress, Country and Western Dance or Boot Scooting with lessons.
  • Celebrity autograph and photo session.
