SAFE (Police Vetting)

Once your team, coaches, volunteers have submitted their police vetting request on the TNZ website, the Portal administrator will need to add them into your Club profile in order to check their SAFE Status. 

Names not showing up in SAFE? 

This checklist below will help you if you are unable to view the SAFE status in the SAFE Status dashboard of your portal. 

  1. Check your team for correct details
    This includes Full Legal Name - rather than a short name or nickname 

  2. Correct Email Address
    When your team enters their details for police vetting, they will be required to enter an email address, this email address is what you need to ensure it matches with your Portal entry. 

For example, you may know them as Jo, but their legal name is Josephine or using hyphens. So please check back with them as these details are captured. Sometimes emails are updated or have a new phone number, so please ensure you get the up-to-date information from them.

There is a chance the names are duplicated in the system which will require the Tennis NZ Portal Team to adjust, please reach out to portal@tennis.kiwi and provide as much information as you can.
