Monique Barry wins third doubles title of 2025

Saturday, 16 August 2025

Monique Barry and her Australian partner Gabriella Da Silva Fick have taken out the doubles title in Tweed Heads, Australia.

In the final on Saturday, Barry and Da Silva Fick, who were the top seeds, defeated the Australian duo Alana Subasic and Belle Thompson 6-4 6-1.

Barry and Da Silva recently lost in another final at Tweed Heads, the New South Wales town that’s close to the Queensland border.

However, this time there was to be no disappointment as they convincingly won this final at the ITF W15 tournament.

This is Barry’s third doubles title in 2025 (all of which have been in Australia) and eighth overall for the 23-year-old. It is also the first time she has won a title with Da Silva Fick as her partner.

Meanwhile, in Bali, Ajeet Rai and Alex Klintcharov lost 6-2 6-2 to Kokoro Isomura and Shunsuke Nakawaga in the doubles final.
