World Junior Tennis Teams Named

The NZ 14u teams are competing at the World Junior Tennis Asia/Oceania Qualifying Competition in Kuching, Malaysia in April in a bid to qualify for the Finals later in the year.

The NZ Girls team consists of Lily Fannin, Jocelyn Ke and Kira Brukvina with non-playing captain Reilly Quirk. Lucy Chang was named in the team however withdrew due to injury.

The boys team consists of Lukas Necas, Manu Raj, Juan Lee, non-travelling reserve Hunter Pang and Captain Jack Tiller.

16 teams from Asia/Oceania will compete with the top four teams qualifying for the Finals in Prostejov, Czechia in August.

The Girls team start their campaign first on the 21 April with the boys to follow the week after (28 April).
