Saturday, 28 June 2025

Vivian Yang has taken out the doubles title at the ITF tournament in Maanshan, China, with her Chinese partner Huang Jiaqi.

Yang, who attends Pepperdine University in the US, has been playing tournaments over the summer break.

On Saturday, she and Huang defeated the all-Chinese pair of Ni Ma Zhoma and Wang Jiaqi 7-5, 1-6, 10-3 to lift the trophy at the W15 event.

It was the second time during the tournament that Yang and Huang won a super tiebreak and each time they did it convincingly.

This was the third ITF doubles title for the 20-year-old Yang. In 2022, she won doubles titles in Caloundra, Australia and Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt.
