Oliver Statham strikes first for Hikurangi in NZ Premier League final

Oliver Statham has put Hikurangi one rubber up in the NZ Premier League final against Horokoau at the Albany Tennis Park.

The 33-year-old has beaten 18-year-old Reece Falck 6-3 6-7 (2) 6-3 in 2 hours 22.

Statham’s twin brother Rubin will attempt to clinch the tie against Alex Klintcharov in the second singles rubber.
