WHY BECOME A TENNIS OFFICIAL?
Tennis officiating is a great way to become more involved in the sport you love.
Becoming a Tennis Official has a huge range of benefits stemming way beyond merely working within the sport. As well as getting close to the action, it can open a world of opportunities including local and international travel, and allow you to create lifelong friendships.

WHO CAN BECOME AN OFFICIAL?
We are looking for enthusiastic people who fit the following criteria:
- Aged 14+
- Have a passion for tennis
- Have a good general knowledge of tennis
- Share the values of Tennis New Zealand to be united, respectful, and strive for excellence
How To Get Started
The best way to get started is to complete the Online Rules of Tennis Course. This is a 20 question, open book test which covers various circumstances you may encounter during a tennis match.
