Shepp goes back-to-back with ITF titles

Saturday, 23 August 2025

Just a week after winning his first ITF title, Anton Shepp has already claimed his second.

The 22-year-old from Hamilton, again partnering with Oliver Johansson, has claimed the doubles title at the M15 tournament in Bastad, Sweden.

In the final, they beat Swedish fourth seeds John Hallquist Lithen and Nikola Slavic 6-4 6-4.

That makes it an eight-match winning streak for Shepp and Johansson, as they also won the tournament in Ystad, Sweden, last week.

Shepp, who attended the University of Nebraska, has spent the past few months in Europe and north Africa building up his ranking.

In the singles draw in Bastad, Shepp lost a nail-biting match 7-5 4-6 11-9 to Jack Karlsson Wistrand in the final round of qualifying.
