Routliffe and Rosolska into Bad Homburg semis

Thursday, 23 June 2022

Erin Routliffe and her Polish partner Alicja Rosolska are through to the doubles semi-finals at the WTA grass court tournament in Bad Homburg in Germany.

The 2nd seeds have beaten the Russian pair of Alena Fomina-Klotz and Anastasia Gasanova 6-2 6-2 in an hour and six minutes.

It wasn’t all one-way traffic and Routliffe and Rosolska saved eight of nine break points against their serve. They broke the Russian pair five times though to ensure a comfortable win.

Routliffe and Rosolska will face Georgia’s Oksana Kalashnikova and American Ingrid Neel for a place in the final after they upset the third seeds in their quarter final.
