Rain Affected Finals at Australian Teams Event

The last two days of the Australian Teams Event were plagued by rain at the KDV Tennis Centre in Gold Coast.
The organisers were forced to call off all matches on the final day due to persistent rain and have dual winners and playoff positions.
NZ finished 3rd in the 11u girls, 13u boys and girls and 5th place in the 11u boys.

NZ reached the semi-finals in three of the four age groups after some great results during the pool play. The 11u boys narrowly missing out on the semi-finals finishing one spot out after pool play.
The 11u girls lost to New South Wales 0-2 in their semi-final while the 13u boys lost to top seeds Victoria 0-2. The
13u girls drew the same fate going down to top seeds Queensland 1-2.
NZ were due to play off for 3rd and 4th place in the 11u Girls, 13u boys and girls and 5th & 6th Playoff for the 11u Boys but with no matches being able to be played.
