Good wins for Marcus Daniell, Paige Hourigan and Ajeet Rai

New Zealand doubles player Marcus Daniell and his Austrian partner Philipp Oswald are through to the quarter finals at the ATP 500 tournament at the Queens Club in London.

Daniell and Oswald have beaten the French pair of Adrian Mannarino and Benoit Paire in their second-round doubles match 6-3 6-4 in 57 minutes. They will face second seeded Colombians Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah for a place in the semis.

 Paige Hourigan has beaten American eighth seed Catherine Harrison 7-5 6-0 in 1 hour 31 to reach the second round at the US $25,000 ITF tournament in Sunter in South Carolina.

Ajeet Rai is through to the second round of singles at the ITF US $15,000 tournament in Monastir in Tunisia. Rai has beaten Korea’s Son Ji-hoon 6-2, 3-6 6-2, winning the last five games to complete the win in 2 hours 7.
