Notice of the 139th Annual General Meeting of Tennis New Zealand Incorporated
Notice is hereby given to the members of Tennis New Zealand Inc that the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Tennis New Zealand will be held in-person in Auckland, Albany Sports Park, Oteha Valley Rd, Auckland, from 9.00 am on Saturday 22 November 2025. The AGM is open to all Members of Tennis New Zealand.
1. DELEGATES
Regional Tennis Organisations (RTOs) may appoint two (2) Delegates to represent it at the Tennis NZ AGM of whom only one (1) may be appointed as the Voting Delegate. National Affiliated Organisations (NAOs) and AMTA may appoint one (1) Voting Delegate to represent it at the Tennis NZ AGM. Tennis NZ will pay for travel and where required, one night’s accommodation costs for each Voting Delegate.
RTOs must advise Tennis NZ of their 2 Nominated Delegates, specifying the Voting Delegate, by 12 noon, Tuesday 18 November, 2025. NAOs and AMTA must advise Tennis NZ of their nominated Voting Delegate by 12 noon, Tuesday 18 November, 2025. This can be sent to admin@tennis.kiwi
2. TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION
All RTOs, NAOs and AMTA attending the AGM will be responsible for organising their own travel and accommodation to and from the AGM and you will be reimbursed by Tennis NZ based on your receipts. Tennis NZ will reimburse the following costs for one (1) Delegate (Voting Delegate): Flights will be reimbursed by Tennis NZ up to a maximum of an Air NZ Seat + Bag fare. Delegates driving to the AGM from outside the Auckland city boundary will be reimbursed at the rate of 85c per km up to a maximum of $250 (or hire of rental car and fuel to the same figure). Accommodation will be reimbursed up to $250.
3. AGM AGENDA
An agenda containing the business to be discussed at the AGM, and proxy voting forms, will be circulated on or before: -
Saturday 1 November, 2025.
4. NOTICE OF AGM BUSINESS
Proposed motions and other items of business must be received by Tennis NZ, in writing, no later than 12 noon, Thursday 23 October, 2025. This can be sent to admin@tennis.kiwi
5. NOTICE OF APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS’ REPRESENTATIVE ON THE TNZ BOARD APPOINTMENT PANEL FOR 2026
No later than 12 noon, Thursday 23 October 2025, Voting Members to advise the Members’ Representative for the TNZ BAP for 2026 or advise if an election is required at the AGM. For an election, nominations are to be provided in writing.
6. ELECTED BOARD MEMBER (3 Year Term) Nominations must be received by Tennis NZ admin@tennis.kiwi on the form provided by 5pm, Monday 6 October 2025.
7. HONORARY VICE-PRESIDENT (1 Year Term) Nominations must be received by Tennis NZ admin@tennis.kiwi in writing by 5pm, Monday 6 October 2025.
