Coaching Courses Update June 2021

Its been a busy time with a number of courses being held around New Zealand. In the first weekend of May the Coaching Assistant Course in Christchurch was completed. Thank you to Tennis Canterbury and Burwood Park Tennis Club for providing facilities and Julia Scott, Kate Williamson and Stu Chalmers for delivering the course alongside Gayle Vaughan. Three Junior Development Coach (JDC) Courses have now completed block 1 in Auckland, Albany and Wellington with 31 coaches are now in training and attending JDC's this year. We had an overwhelming number sign ups in Auckland that a second course was created in Albany to meet the demand.

Thank you to Paul Arnott, Coach Developer for running the Auckland module, Nick Jacques for running the Albany Course and Adam Roberts, Julia Scott and Gayle Vaughan, coaches who travelled from out of town to attend these courses and Tennis Auckland, Tennis Northern, Tennis Central for providing their facilities.
