Daniell and Oswald beaten in Kitzbuhel quarters

 New Zealand doubles player Marcus Daniell and his Austrian partner Philipp Oswald have been beaten in the quarter finals of the ATP tournament in Kitzbuhel in Austria.

They’ve lost 6-2 6-4 to top seeds Spain’s Marcel Granollers and Argentina’s Horacio Zeballos. Daniell and Oswald now head to Italy for the Rome Masters, their final clay court event before the French Open at the end of the month.

Meanwhile Kiwi Erin Routliffe and her British partner Naomi Broady will face second seeded Aussies Ellen Perez and Storm Sanders in the quarter finals of the WTA tournament in Istanbul overnight.
