With the absence of the ASB Classic in 2021, we're changing-up our annual Coach Development offering to bring NZ's coaches a unique opportunity to change the game, change the player and change the business! We bring you...GAME CHANGER WORKSHOP 2021! 

Running alongside Auckland's ITF J5 event, this one-day workshop will give coaches the opportunity to focus on two key areas: Performance Analysis and Women and Girls in Tennis

Performance Analysis - Running alongside Auckland's ITF J5 event, coaches will explore a variety of player observation and analysis approaches with Tennis NZ's High Performance Director, Christophe Lambert. Coaches will develop effective player observation and match analysis strategies whilst observing NZ's top U18 players. Coaches will also explore player development priorities for juniors, preferred game styles and how coaches can best influence their players. Presenter: Christophe Lambert
Use of Technology for Player Analysis – How the use of technology can benefit player development through statistics, including the interpretation of statistical analysis for coaches. Presenter: Christophe Lambert
Holistic Approach to Working with Women and Girls in Tennis – Enhancing the tennis journey for female players, parents, coaches and future coaches. Unpacking the different motivations, barriers and physical considerations that women face when participating in tennis and exploring the important role sport plays in empowering young women and girls. Presenters: Gayle Vaughan, Jenny Fitzmaurice, Emily Carter and Simone Spencer (Aktive Portfolio Manager - Women and Girls, Coach Development and Good Sports)
